Letter from the Board
Dear Customers,
The Board of the Co-Op and the Medical Society Council are saddened by the prospect of closing a bookshop that was borne out of the Sydney University Medical Society Bookscheme which was established in 1951. Out of a small room in the basement of the Blackburn Building of Sydney University, it has been providing books and instruments to students, doctors, nurses and libraries ever since. We know there are plenty of you who have always bought your books and supported our little shop for many years and for that support, thank you. Books will be sold until there are none left so we ask those who are in need of textbooks or instruments to continue to support us until doors formally close later in the year.
